Dave Stroman is a founding member of Combat Veteran Cohorts and is driven to assist other Veterans of military service in their reintegration into society and finding peace of mind through therapeutic adventure in the great outdoors. Dave was drafted on April 6, 1970 and found himself in the Republic of Vietnam as an apprentice infantryman in August 1970, twenty-three years later he retired as a Sergeant Major having served through the Cold War and Desert Storm. His second career included completing an MBA, working ten years in sales & marketing and retiring. A couple of years later he returned to government service for six years with Army Materiel Command with multiple deployments to Iraq and Kuwait. The third retirement has been successful. Dave also serves as a Mentor in Veteran’s Treatment Court in Johnson County, Kansas where lives with his wife and partner for life, Mary.
